Custodes Alterius Mundi is a middle school supernatural fantasy novel about a group of five friends who learn they are the next generation of the Guardians of the Otherworld, a secret society who have kept the veil between the real world and the spirit world protected for two thousand years.

In Book One – The Aegis Wreath the friends find themselves fighting spirits in an attempt to rescue the grandfather of one of the group. After fighting their way to the grandfather, releasing him from his prison, and fighting their way back to safety, the group realises they have inadvertently release the oldest, most powerful spirits, unleashing their wrath upon an unsuspecting world.
