Irrilyn is a Young Adult fantasy about a family from Earth, who through the magic of wishes, gets transported to the world of Irrilyn. Mallory, Celeste, and Charles Weightfield are out of their depth when they first awake in the woods. Confused, scared, and alone they determine to find safety, but after several days of trapsing through the woods, safety finds them. As they journey with the group of soldiers who encountered them, their deeds have them branded as The Saviours of Irrilyn, and they are drawn into the war between the two realms of Irrilyn; Ghedela and Shyonn.

Mallory undertakes the arduous journey across the breadth of Irrilyn to return the Jewel of Power to its proper resting place, so that it can regain its original power, and restore the Balance.

Celeste saves the life of a young unicorn, and becomes the first Unicorn Rider, training to lead the archers of Ghedela on the battlefield.

Charles steps in to aid in the preparations of war, suggesting strategies and tactics that could help Ghedela against the Shyonnian army.

And when the two armies meet on the Field of Open Promise, the fate of Irrilyn hangs in the balance.
